Hidden Valley Loop Side Route
10/10/2018: Today’s first hike was Hidden Valley loop which was really cool, and we got 1.66 miles out of that. It was a place where rustlers took their rustled cattle to hide them because you couldn’t easily get into the area. It was a box cannon. The official hike is 1.0 miles and very easy. However, there are many places where you can just wonder out behind some boulders and there is a whole new world to look at.
Hershey Kiss Rock
Marg’s Notes: After today’s adventures, we went up and had wine on the rocks behind us and talked to a guy that had a mountain bike and rode it places on the rocks and took pictures. He was a very nice and very talkative guy. We had a quiet time and lay down in the tent, but I don’t think either one of us fell asleep but read our books.
Tonight, for dinner we had garlic mashed potatoes, tuna, left over macaroni and cheese with fried rice.
Rod’s Ramblings from the Trail: I named the rock Hershey Kiss Rock. I am surprised that no one has officially named it that. Hidden Vall
